On Saturday 24th March we had our third county girls session at Carlyon Bay Golf Club. In this session we started our golfing journey of tee to green. In particular we focused on long game shots such as driving, woods and irons. All the girls put in 110% effort in and went through any swing problems that may have been occurring and were resolved during our range session.
After our range session we then played a foursomes format of the golf course. It was a great experience for the girls that weren’t familiar with this format and also very good practise for the ones that have. This format is very common in county matches so great to start practising it. It’s also great for team work and the girls did really well all helping each other. We managed to all play 8 holes, which was unfortunately in rather heavy rain. However there were some excellent scores that came in (maybe they are all used to this bad weather now).
